How to Get Started

Getting Started with Connected Services through the Toyota app is simple:

1. Download the Toyota App via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2.  

2. - Open the app and create an account using you email or an existing social media account.
3. - Add your Toyota vehicle to your vehicle garage by scanning the vehicles VIN via the door jamb or manually typing the VIN in the box provided. Your vehicle will then appear on the screen, and you can view which of the connected services are enabled on your vehicle.
4. - Select “Enroll” to begin using all your Connected Services features.
5. - Once enrolled to Toyota Connected Services, you can nickname your vehicle, select your preferred dealer, and manage your account profile.

Toyota App

The Toyota App allows you to gain access to all your Toyota Connected Services Features directly from your phone including:

• - Execute remote commands to your vehicle like engine start/stop, lock/unlock doors, and more on compatible vehicles.
• - View your vehicles status and location.
• - Manage all your vehicle’s subscriptions and personal user profiles.
• - Set your preferred Dealer and schedule service appointments
• - Manage and view your vehicles alerts and health reports.

Remote Connect

Through the Toyota App, Remote Connect allows you to start/stop your vehicles engine, lock/unlock your vehicles doors, and check the status of your doors and windows to see if they are all closed. You can also enable next levels of connectivity with Guest Driver Settings, Last Parked Location and Drive Pulse along with other features.

To execute your vehicles, Start/Stop function through the Toyota App, Press and hold the Start button within the remote connect tile for about a second until the starting animation begins. After this sequence you will receive a confirmation that the command was successful. At which time you vehicle will remain idling for 10 minutes. This action can also be completed through Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Apple Watch, Android Smart Watch, and more.

Service Connect

On select 2020 and new Toyota models that come equipped, Connected Services allows you to keep your Toyota in peak condition with Vehicle Health Reports, Warning Light Notifications and more, all through the Toyota App.

To manage alerts and notifications relating to Toyota Service Connect:

1. - Select your account in the top right corner
2. - Select the notification settings
3. - Select whether you wish to receive push notifications and/or emails for warning light notifications and vehicle health reports.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Apple CarPlay allows you to Connect you iPhone and provide a smart and simple way to listen to music and display other key features such as navigation while driving.

Android Auto allows you to Connect you Android enabled and provide a simple and convenient way to listen to music and display other key features such as navigation while driving.

Wireless Apple CarPlay & Wireless Android Auto functionality is available on select models.

Other Features

Other features available with Toyota Connected Services include:

• - Safety Connect, which is 24-hour access to a live response center agent that can help assist with any problems that might occur while driving, no matter the time of day.
• - Drive Connect, includes Cloud Navigation with Destination Assist and Intelligent Assistant.
• - Destination Assist, includes a 24/7 live agent that helps to locate your destination and the best route to get you there.
• - Sirius XM Radio, listen to your favorite news, sports, talk shows, ad-free music, and more.
